I create concepts & stories for immersive multimedia journeys that are brought to life through light, sound, music, projection, words, and interactivity.

Winter’s Dream: Writer & Creative Lead

This sensorial experience features light, sound, original compositions, set design, storytelling panels, and larger-than-life interactive elements, inviting audiences into an oneiric and surreal world inspired by the season. It was designed and produced by Moment Factory, and presented by the Village of Lake George (New York) and the Warren County Coalition. Winter’s Dream opened in December 2023 and will run until March 2024, with a proposed continued season over several years.

The Wait: Original Installation

This narrative-driven installation combines light, set design, soundscape, and found video footage, to evoke the story of a a lone seeker, awaiting the arrival of extraterrestrial life. It was inspired by the many ways in which conspiratorial thinking has shaped both our actions and inactions, and invites the audience to place themselves within the scene and closely examine the details. It was independently designed and produced, and featured in a weekend-long festival in Sutton QC, sponsored by Moment Factory.

Miroir Miroir: Concept Development, Experience Texts

Miroir Miroir is comprised of five unique immersive and interactive installations inspired by the workings of the human mind. Touching on themes of memory, inspiration, collective unconscious, and identity, these invite the audience to play, contemplate, reflect, and navigate the space, in ways designed to activate creativity. This is an original Moment Factory project, supported in part by the ré-Creation MTL initiative.

RESONATE: Creative Concept, Original Writing, Voiceover

Resonate encompasses five outdoor multimedia installations, which revolve around the theme of deep embeddedness within the environment. Each installation contemplates a moment when the inner emotional landscape and outer atmosphere seem to align, as though by magic. They are anchored in a series of original poems, which feature in voiceover as a meditative prelude to each piece. This project was presented at the Illuminate Adelaide light festival, who invited a small creative team from Moment Factory to participate as featured artists.

North Forest Lights: Concept Development, Experience Texts, Voiceover

This lush sensory experience invites audiences to “tune in” to the unseen rhythms and voices of the natural world, bringing to light the way trees communicate with each other, the past lives of the forest, and the memories of the land. Five installations feature light, soundscape, original music and interactivity designed to bring people into communication with the environment. This project ran for 3 consecutive years along the North Forest Trail at the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art.

Inventions: Co-Creator & Co-Producer

Inventions was a series of literary and musical gatherings that featured improvised words and sounds, brought together on a stage. In projecting words onto the screen, the idea was to bring audiences “into the mind” of a writer, and give them a glimpse of the process. Simultaneously, musicians on the stage created an improvised soundscape. The goal was for a combination of media to bring unexpected intersections and fruitful resonances to life both artists and their audience.
